APS (Atlanta
Public Schools) To Spend “Beltline TAD” Funds For Educational Purposes
The Atlanta
Board of Education (APS) has voted to keep $12 million tax dollars collected
for the Beltline TAD from 2005 to April 22, 2009 for educational purposes.
Beltline TAD officials had requested a transfer of the funds to Beltline
after Governor Perdue signed a bill granting school boards the authority to
participate in TADs. |
