12-3-09: Green Team 2nd Quarter Performance Report

During the Third Quarter, the Green Team initiated two special projects designed to conform with conservation goals inside and outside government buildings.

In July 2009, in a special “Re-use Program”, the Green Team donated 115 recycled computer diskettes to the East Atlanta Library – to be used by library patrons who may not be able to afford flash drives or diskettes to store electronic information.  The Team’s Re-use Program is not only an opportunity for county departments to donate items for re-use by other departments, the subject project also diverts unusable items from land-fills to uses within the government and to benefit the community.
