The Harriett G. Darnell Multipurpose Facility is a part of a (county-wide) Senior Services delivery system that promotes successful aging.  Programming is designed to achieve a high level engagement with life, low risk of disease and high physical, social, and emotional function levels.

A Community Center, HGD facilities include a fully-equipped Fitness Center, an Auditorium and Cafeteria which can seat 350 persons, a (heated) Pool, Library, Conference Rooms, Gardens, Walking Trails, and a Computer Laboratory and Learning Center.  Operated by the Fulton County Human Services Department, the Harriett G. Darnell Multipurpose Facility Multipurpose Facility is open from Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.  Plans are underway to expand into evening programming for persons age 55 and older who are still working yet would like to take advantage of the services offered.
