As a result of the leadership of the
Fulton County Board of Commissioners,
especially Commissioner
Vice Chair William "Bill" Edwards of
District 7 and District 5 Commissioner
Emma I. Darnell, the Southwest Arts
Center now exist as a premier arts and
cultural facility in the region.
The new Performance Theater and Gallery
will greatly enhance the ability of
Fulton County to make the arts more
accessible and expand arts programming
for children, youth and families, thus
enhancing the quality of life in our
