What are "Hot Topics"?
Hot Topics are "policy-making" areas
which have a major impact upon the
health, safety and quality of life of
Fulton County residents. The
question to be resolved: Whether action
or inaction in this area can have an
effect on people's lives? The Hot
Topic is not a "directory of services"
although we may "link" to a department
program project in special
circumstances. It is for the use
of residents who want to go to a higher
level of information regarding how their
tax dollars are being spent.
The aim is to achieve "real" - not
"fake" transparency regarding Board
policy and programming. It is
intended to establish a dialogue with
the resident based upon facts and a
thorough examination of the issues.
